You can join the association whenever you wish, however, please be aware that summer is our busy guiding season and applications may not be reviewed by the Board of Directors between May and September.

We base our membership fees on the calendar year, if you join in October or Later, we extend your membership period to cover until following end of year December 31st.

We acknowledge that the Canadian Tour Guide Association of BC meets on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations in Vancouver.

We also recognize that we live, work, and play on the ancestral lands of Indigenous Peoples who have stewarded the lands of Western Canada since time immemorial. We honor their ongoing connection to these lands and their profound cultural heritage, and we are committed to building respectful relationships as we move forward together.
