Due to the rapidly evolving nature of the Tourism Industry, we recognize there may be industry participants that could benefit from a mutually beneficial arrangement with the CTGA of BC. We have created new categories for membership that are invite only and require special approval from the board. They are:

• Alumni
  
• • The Alumni will consist of former members who wish to remain with the association, but for academic/personal interests only. This will consist of all retired or inactive members. Members active in the tourism industry will not be eligible and must be an Associate or Professional member accordingly
  • An Alumni member will have no vote at any official association meeting that requires a quorum present to conduct association business.
  • There will be no attendance requirement.
  • This position will be applied by the former member, and granted pending a review of the members history.
• Honourary
• An appointed membership for designated Tourism Affiliates/Individuals/Corporations who have demonstrated continued support of the CTGA of BC and its goals.
• An Honourary member will have no vote at any official association meeting that requires a quorum present to conduct association business.
• There will be no attendance requirement.
• This position will be appointed by the Board of Directors pending a review of their industry history.
