October 2025 Members Meeting

Welcome Back

We are resuming our regularly scheduled monthly meetings. Our first is this October 9th.

Doors will open at 18:00

Meeting will commence at 18:30

We will have a discussion about the summer, some member updates, introduce our new members and some social interaction

New Industry Members and potential members are welcome to join!

  • Cataloguing our library for members to borrow from
  • Assistance in updating our Fact Book
  • Social Media project: Interviews and Stories from our members about their careers

  • Assistance in preparing some files and templates that we can make available to members:

    • Welcome Letters
    • Tour Docs
    • Commentaries

• Website Update

  • Tech Support for members with their CTGA profiles

• Book Scanner:

  • It has arrived and would be available for for members to digitize their collections.

  • Thoughts on policies?

    • Recommend a small donation per book to the assocation to help recover the cost?
    • Use cases for members?
    • Digitizing our History
• Future thoughts for the association (Oct 2nd was our 36th year anniversary)
• Suggestions for this years meetings

We are also going to collect any outstanding Port ID and Port Passes. Please bring them if you no longer need them

Please keep logging into the CTGA account and check out the events page. There will be events announced shortly. As well, all the meeting venues have been locked in for the year (Minus our April meeting and the Christmas Event, TBA). Registrations for those will open up so we can get numbers as soon as possible.

If you are interested in helping the board with some tasks, please let us know. Due to some commitments and unforeseen circumstances we are a bit behind on a few items and the more help the quicker we can bring things up to speed.!
